FAQ

How does voting work?

Voting happens in two rounds:

  1. Nomination Round (February 5 – March 5, 2025):
    • Nominate your favorites in each category.
    • You can submit one nomination per category, and you can only nominate ONCE—so make it count!
    • After nominations close, we will review the submissions and determine the top nominees.
  2. Final Voting Round (March 26 – April 22, 2025):
    • The top nominees in each category will be announced as finalists on March 26, 2025.
    • Voting will then reopen, and you’ll have one chance to vote for the winners in each category.
    • Just like in the nomination round, you can only vote once.

 

Winners will be announced on April 24, 2025.

To get nominated, share the Boston Business Women Awards page with the women in your network and encourage them to nominate you under the category that best fits your business. You cannot nominate yourself, and each person can only submit one nomination.

The first round of voting opens February 5, 2025 and closes March 5, 2025. The final round of voting will run from March 26 – April 22, 2025. Winners will be announced on April 24, 2025.

All nominations must be women-identifying and based in Massachusetts. This year, we’re excited to include a special section for women-owned service providers located outside of Massachusetts. Any business located outside of MA must be nominated in that specific section in order for the nomination to be counted. Additionally, we’ve introduced some fun BBW Superlatives to recognize our members in new and exciting ways!

Winners will be notified by email on April 23, 2025. We will publicly announce the winners on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in our Facebook Community! If you haven’t joined yet, you can do so here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/bostonbusinesswomen
