Where are you based? How did you end up there?
Charlton, MA – I provide mostly virtual services to reach people anywhere, but take most major insurances in MA. I love being a local service provider in my community.

Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
I am a licensed therapist and personal trainer offering 1:1 virtual services. I help chronic dieters find peace with food, fitness, and their body. I combine mental health expertise with my passion for fitness. I started my business after losing a baby at 22 weeks, realizing life is too short to settle for work I’m not passionate about. My own experiences with an eating disorder inspired me to help others heal.

What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success is empowering women who then go on to empower others. Hearing my clients positively impact friends, family, and daughters tells me I’m making a difference.

Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
Letting go of selling weight loss. I worried no one would work with me if I didn’t focus on weight loss, but embracing the non-diet space aligned my work with my true values.

What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Juggling everything and determining what to do myself versus what to hire out. Deciding priorities for time or money is an ongoing challenge.

How do you handle the harder days?
I remind myself of the butterfly effect: small actions can make a big difference. I use the affirmation, “this too shall pass.”

How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
I just joined but wanted to surround myself with women crushing it to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Quitting my job as a clinician to pursue personal training full-time. I took a pay cut and longer commute but progressed quickly to assistant manager and manager within 2 years, building the confidence to start my business.

Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
Fun, adventurous, sarcastic, and real. I value family and health, am a wife and mom of 2, and love active pursuits like weightlifting, rock climbing, tennis, and playing chase with my kids.

What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
I combine mental and physical health support in a trauma-informed, non-judgmental way. My approach is weight inclusive, anti-diet, and health at every size, which is rare in both therapy and fitness fields.

Where can we keep up with you? What social media platforms do you use the most?
