Where are you based? How did you end up there?
Newton, Massachusetts. My sister lives in Newton, and it’s a great community to launch a business.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
EazyDone is a services marketplace designed for communities such as schools, offices, and buildings. We streamline the process of finding, booking, and paying trusted service providers by leveraging word-of-mouth recommendations within these networks.
The idea began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when my father needed help with his phone. Finding someone to replace his SIM card was nearly impossible, even after reaching out to friends and family. Once I tapped into a trusted community, it worked instantly.
As a busy professional and mom of three, I realized this pain point was widespread. With 20+ years of leadership experience at major retailers like H&M and Macy’s, I applied my expertise in consumer behavior and business strategy to launch EazyDone in 2022. The goal is to help busy parents find trusted, community-recommended service providers efficiently.
Since launch, EazyDone has nearly tripled in size, expanding from Newton, MA, to partnerships with organizations like Kaiserman JCC in Philadelphia, with more communities to follow in 2024.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success is recurring bookings within a community—proof that trust and service are sustained over time.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
Realizing I had to do it my way. EazyDone’s uniqueness and success come from following my vision, not imitating others.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Underestimating my own achievements and the value of my experience.
How do you handle the harder days?
I let challenges wash over me, then get up and keep going.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
I’m new, but being surrounded by like-minded, driven women already feels invaluable.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Leaving a high-level corporate position to start EazyDone and seeing the idea evolve into a real, thriving business.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
She values the freedom to choose how to spend her time, balancing family, friends, and her own professional accomplishments. Abigail is passionate about building trust within communities, having experienced the frustration of finding reliable service providers herself.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
I have a deep understanding of consumer behavior, which informs EazyDone’s marketplace design. Trust is at the core of everything we do, making the platform reliable and community-centered.
Where can we keep up with you? What social media platforms do you use the most?
