Where are you based? How did you end up there?
I’ve been in the USA for 20 years. Immigration was a challenging journey, but I had a clear vision of the life I wanted to build. I’m fortunate to be married to a supportive, intelligent husband, and together we have two wonderful sons, ages 16 and 9. We’ve also successfully opened two business locations.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
Cosmetic and Laser Center is a medical spa offering a wide range of procedures, including neurotoxins, laser skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, and more.
My lifelong passion for beauty and skin health drove me to open my own medspa. Starting this business was fueled by my dream and determination. Coming to the USA with very little, I pursued my goal with persistence, learning along the way and building a dedicated team.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success, for me, is achieving goals through dedication, hard work, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone. It’s about building a strong team, creating value for clients, and continuously growing. I know I’ve reached it when I see my clients happy, thriving, and confident because of the services we provide.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur.
Seeing the impact of our work on clients’ confidence and happiness has been incredibly transformational. Simple procedures can truly change someone’s life, and witnessing that transformation is deeply rewarding.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Starting out in a new country with no knowledge of the culture, laws, or resources while navigating pregnancy was extremely challenging. I faced many obstacles but remained committed to my goals, learning as I progressed.
How do you handle the harder days? The struggles?
I gather my team, listen, and collaborate to address challenges. I also lean on friends for support, and when I’m alone, I allow myself to process my emotions and then refocus on the work.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
I’m new to the community but am excited to meet and learn from such a vibrant group of women. I have high hopes for growth and inspiration through these connections.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Receiving the “Best of Boston” award voted by our clients and witnessing moments where we’ve positively impacted clients’ lives—like helping a teenage girl in a wheelchair gain confidence through our services—are moments I’ll never forget.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
I love spending time with my family, friends, and exploring nature. I care for my garden and 15 chickens, travel with my family (we’ve visited over 45 countries), enjoy dancing, singing, and drawing in quiet moments. Family, passion, and kindness are central to my life.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
We provide highly personalized care, listening to and educating each client, tailoring treatments to their unique needs. Our team continuously updates our knowledge and equipment to offer the latest and most effective procedures. Beyond technical skill, our genuine kindness, confidence, and dedication to clients set us apart.
Where can we keep up with you? What social media platforms do you use the most?
Facebook is my primary platform, followed by Instagram.
