She moved to Massachusetts for her studies, earning a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, and a PhD in biomedical engineering from Tulane University, Louisiana. She has worked as a research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital.

CBS Acupuncture operates several affiliated clinics in the Greater Boston area, focusing on healing and educating individuals about mind-body wellness. Dr. Li founded the practice to integrate ancient wisdom with modern techniques, helping patients achieve remarkable recoveries and, in some cases, complete healing from challenging illnesses. She is also producing a YouTube show featuring patient testimonials to share the transformative power of Chinese medicine.
