I am based out of the Gillette Stadium area, where I live with my boyfriend of 6 years.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
Hi, my name is Courtney Ricci, I am a published author, holistic educator, messenger, and healer, who owns Courtney Ricci Healing in Walpole, MA.
I specialize in reading the Akashic Records for others, to help find missing persons, and to study diseases and cures. I also specialize in reading and creating Oracle cards. I do Reiki healing and chakra education. In 2022, I created and now teach my “Getting to Know Your Chakras” entry-level class.
I am one of Maureen Hancock’s lifetime scholarship students, and I have spent the last year studying herbal medicine and intuitive tea tastings. I began my Fire Walking journey after co-hosting and participating in my hometown of Walpole, MA’s very first Fire Walking ceremony on 11/11/23. I now host seaside holistic retreats and educational/healing experiences on Cape Cod by the ocean.
My love and passion for spirit, holistic communication, healing, and education is the driving force behind my business — Courtney Ricci Healing.
How have you grown within your personal and professional life due to the success of your business?
I have learned to collaborate and set healthy boundaries. I’ve learned to keep trusting the process, and not bring old wounds to new relationships, both personally and professionally. I learned to cut cords that hold no benefit in order to make room for the new. Most importantly, I learned my worth — and I stopped giving discounts.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success means you are living in alignment with your soul purpose and making enough money to live comfortably by your own definition. It means you have the freedom to make the sacrifices necessary to reach higher versions of personal and professional growth.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur.
My most transformational moment was on April 1st, 2022. I had spent over a year exploring different holistic studies, from Akashic Records reading to Sacred Geometry, but could never find a teacher who would stay.
After my teacher passed away, I kept studying from her printed notes. One night, the wellness center I was a member of called me to help set up for an event — it turned out to be Maureen Hancock’s live mediumship show. After the show, Maureen pulled me aside and gave me a free lifetime scholarship to her university for intuitively gifted individuals.
This scholarship changed my life — it gave me the education I needed to become a better and more efficient holistic healer, messenger, and educator. Maureen also encouraged me to get Reiki 1 & 2 certified, which I completed. I even performed my first accurate live mediumship at her Soul Shift day retreat on 11/29/22.
Receiving that scholarship was the most transformational moment of my whole life and career — it opened doors to so many incredible opportunities and connections.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
The biggest challenge I had to overcome to create my business — and even to earn my Maureen Hancock scholarship — was acquiring an absolutely radical level of trust in Spirit.
Practices like the Akashic Library, mediumship, Reiki, and Oracle cards aren’t “logical” to most people in society today. We are taught to doubt intuition and follow the crowd. It took time, vulnerability, and courage to fully trust Spirit — to know I wasn’t crazy, and that I was truly being guided.
It took a long time to get here, and I’m grateful every day for that progress.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
It has gotten me in front of a much larger audience and given me a supportive community of amazing women and business owners in my area.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
The proudest moment of my career was bringing to life my hometown’s very first Fire Walking ceremony, despite countless obstacles.
It started in summer 2023 when a woman claiming to be a Fire Walking facilitator asked for help hosting an event. I worked hard to get it approved by my town’s fire department and recreation committee. But soon after, red flags appeared — she didn’t show up for commitments and tried to take over the event.
Two weeks before the walk, she tried to steal my clients and move the event elsewhere. Instead of giving up, I refunded everyone, meditated, and found a new facilitator — my friend Misha, an experienced Fire Walker.
Together, we successfully walked eight men and women through fire on the beach in Walpole on 11/11/23. We closed the ceremony with a gold-infused water ritual.
That day proved the power of divine synchronicity and taught me that fate cannot be missed if you don’t give up. It also reminded me that experience or fame doesn’t always equal authenticity.
That experience not only tested me but showed me that I truly belong in this field — that I’ve earned my place in the holistic healing and spiritual education community.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
I am a lover of the ocean — I love being near the sea no matter the season. I enjoy swimming, water activities, sparkles, and pink!
I study herbal medicine, love my animals (two ferrets and my boyfriend’s dog), go to concerts with friends, do puzzles, and enjoy relaxing at home watching TV and being cozy on the couch.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
Every healer has their own unique style — it’s all about who you’re drawn to.
I stand out because I’ve created two unique tri-part Oracle card decks with no replicas — a medical-themed deck and a mediumship assistance deck that offers great advice.
I’m also one of the few beach/sand Fire Walkers in the world. I’ve never hosted or participated in a Fire Walking ceremony anywhere but the beach — and I was the first to bring this beach Fire Walking practice to Massachusetts on 11/11/23.
