New Hampshire. I moved from Rhode Island at 21 for a relationship.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
I left the traditional accounting world because I disliked its “all work, no play” culture. Now, Honeycomb Bookkeeping works primarily with service providers, especially female business owners, helping them understand and enjoy their numbers. We aim to be your “bookkeeping bestie.”
How have you grown within your personal and professional life due to the success of your business?
Entrepreneurship has been a constant challenge and growth opportunity. From starting solo to now leading a team of 5, I’ve learned to implement systems, manage a virtual workplace, and be the boss I always wished I had.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success is living life on my terms—traveling when I want, enjoying spontaneous mornings, and running a business that allows me to take long vacations.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur.
Letting go of a client whose goals didn’t align with mine. It was empowering to choose myself and walk away from a stressful situation—something I couldn’t have done in my previous jobs.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Promoting myself on social media, embracing my virtual team, and shedding the need to fit into a rigid “professional” mold. I had to remind myself that being authentic is a superpower.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
It’s inspiring to see other women believe in themselves and support each other. BBW has been a constant source of encouragement and connection.

Winning GOLD in “Best of 603,” competing against well-established firms—it was thrilling and validating.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
I am a wife and proud mom of a 22-year-old daughter. I love traveling, my puppy Cyrus, interior design, and driving my mini convertible under the sun. I value fun, adventure, family, and authenticity.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
We make bookkeeping fun and stress-free. We simplify the process, bring personality and energy, and aim to be your accounting bestie rather than typical number-crunchers.
