Where are you based? How did you end up there?

I am based between Marrakech and Boston. My journey began as a holistic health coach running a wellness villa in Tokyo during my twenties. Seeking new experiences and a fresh start, I relocated to Morocco to pursue journalism and learn wellness from a new angle.

Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?

It all started when I had some incredible experiences while living in Morocco. These experiences inspired me to dive deeper into transformational tools like Vedic Astrology, Human Design, Subconscious Reprogramming, and Meditation. I realized that I wanted to help people discover their own special talents and build better relationships because I believe that's really important. At Yugen Holistic, we have some fantastic things to offer:

Human Design readings: These readings help you discover what makes you unique and teach you how to communicate better with others.

Astrology readings: I use astrology to understand your life path and learn about specific events or timings in your life.

Detox programs: These programs help you feel lighter and freer by cleansing your body with delicious and healthy options.

Subconscious Reprogramming: This is about learning how to control your emotions and become the master of your own mind.

Meditation practice: I guide you in finding peace and calm within yourself, which brings more joy to your life.

You can experience all these amazing things through personalized readings, fun workshops, or even exciting retreats. These are opportunities for you to explore, learn, and have a great time!

What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?

For me, success means waking up every morning feeling excited and ready to start the day. It's knowing what makes me happy, healthy, and productive, and taking small steps each day to fulfill those needs. Success is having great relationships with the important people in my life, treating them with respect and kindness. It's also about having enough money to cover my needs and enjoy life, while being able to share with others. Success brings me peace of mind, trusting myself and setting boundaries.

Even when I make mistakes, success means being kind to myself and learning from them. It's about facing my fears and not letting them hold me back. I know I've reached success when I feel proud of my growth, happiness, and the positive impact I have on others.

Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?

A moment that changed everything for me in my business journey was when I discovered the power of selling with heart and taking control of promoting what I offer. It shifted my mindset from being an employee to being the boss, and I saw how it directly affected my profits. By showing my passion and being genuine in my sales approach, I attracted the perfect customers and saw my business grow. Selling with heart became my secret to forming meaningful connections and finding success in my business.

What was one of your biggest challenges in business?

My biggest challenge was deciding on one path to commit to. As a manifesting generator by human design, I naturally love exploring and mastering many different things. However, to become an authority, I needed to commit to something specific. In my 20s, I was passionate about holistic wellness, but as I entered my 30s, I felt a strong calling towards journalism and starting a communications and branding agency. I found success in both areas, but it took time to connect them together.

One of the struggles I faced was that people often misunderstood me. Being a manifesting generator can feel frustrating because I like to move quickly, sometimes skipping important steps. But I learned the importance of paying attention to details and delegating work when necessary.

Eventually, I fully committed to my path as a wellness expert and human design for relationships coach at Yugen Holistic. It was then that things started falling into place. I overcame the challenges and found a way to connect my different interests. Human design also helped me recognize my weaknesses and taught me important lessons about patience and focusing on what truly matters.

How do you handle the harder days? The struggles? Those moments when you feel like giving up?

There are a few things that help me feel better. I regularly use astrology and human design to understand more about who I am and what makes me unique. It's like having a special map of myself! I also practice subconscious reprogramming and meditation, which helps me do deep work on my thoughts and feelings. When I face challenges, I try to observe what's happening without immediately reacting.

When I need to feel calm and relaxed, I take a moment to meditate and take deep breaths. It helps me remember that things are happening for my growth and that I have the power to handle them. I also make sure to check in with my needs. I know that emotional connection, good health, and comfort are important to me. So, I might call a friend, have a healthy snack, go for a run, or go for a manicure.

And if I still feel stressed, I'll just go into savasana. It's feels like melting into a cloud of soft marshmallow blankets. Sometimes this is all I need to relax and let my mind and body rest.

How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?

I'm thrilled to join as a new member! Even though I was interested in joining from Morocco, the timing never seemed right during my summer visits back home. But this time, I'm here for a longer period, and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of this community. I'm eager to explore, make new friends, and build meaningful connections.

Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.

One of the proudest moments in my career was when I launched my holistic bed and breakfast in Tokyo. It was a huge accomplishment, especially considering the challenges I faced during my transition to the country. I never imagined I would get the opportunity, but I made it happen. Before opening the bed and breakfast, I was a member of the Marie Forleo B-School program in 2011. The clarity I gained from that experience definitely played a role in manifesting this opportunity.

I used Airbnb to kick-start the bed and breakfast. At that time, health coaching, online detoxes, vitamixes, and superfoods were not as well-known or popular. It felt amazing to trust my intuition and enter the market at the right time. The project was both financially rewarding and emotionally fulfilling. Looking back, I realize how ahead of the trend I was, and I acknowledge that with pride. This gives me confidence today to pioneer new ventures, like using human design and astrology for health and relationships. I understand that not everyone may be ready for it yet, but I believe it's a growing trend. This time, I feel confident about committing to it and seeing it through. It's an important lesson I've learned along the way.

Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?

When I have free time, I love being in nature, learning something new, or going on an adventure. Exploring peaceful forests, traveling, or stargazing makes me feel calm and inspired. Spending time with my loved ones is also important to me too. Whether we're having deep conversations or creating something together, building strong connections is a top priority for me because it helps me grow and brings happiness to my life.

What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?

I've been on an amazing adventure for the past 15 years. I've actively built my skillsets while exploring different places and cultures. I lived in Tokyo, traveled all around Asia to learn about wellness, and spent time in Morocco discovering mysticism and astrology. Along the way, I met so many different people and learned their best tips and secrets.

These experiences have shaped who I am and how I help others. I've gathered all the wonderful things I've learned and put them into my retreats, coaching, and workshops. It's like having a treasure chest full of amazing tools to share with others.
