Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
I am a creative at heart: a creative director, graphic designer, painter, scarf designer, and t-shirt designer. I wanted the freedom to own my time and determine my value. After my last full-time job didn’t provide the raise I felt I deserved, I gave notice and launched my businesses—quadrupling my income in just six months.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
I define success as building multiple thriving businesses, achieving several million dollars in annual revenue, getting my scarves in Nordstrom, and having the freedom to live bi-coastally during winter months.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur.
Quadrupling my income in six months after leaving my last full-time job. That moment proved I could set my own path and achieve far beyond expectations.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Making the decision to leave a steady paycheck and managing sales growth for my businesses.
How do you handle the harder days?
I practice affirmations, positive scripting, gratitude exercises, meditation, and listen to high-vibe content. I also rely on a group of entrepreneurial women who meet regularly and provide mutual support.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
It’s been inspiring to be surrounded by like-minded women who share similar goals. Their support and energy have been invaluable.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Being featured in magazines and newspapers as an artist.
Who is the woman behind your business?
Bold, colorful, outgoing, funny, and creative. I love traveling, staying in beautiful locations, spending time with my children, enjoying the ocean, and immersing myself in art every day.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
Owning four businesses allows me to create in multiple ways and get paid for what I love. One day I may be designing a social media campaign, the next I’m creating a scarf design. My flexibility and diversity in creativity set me apart.
