Ladybugz Interactive is a digital agency that specializes in digital growth for early growth and transitioning organizations. We provide digital services to help companies define their digital voice through a collaborative, iterative, agile process that leads to success and sets the company up to continue to continue to evolve. Our services include branding, messaging, content creation, custom web design and development services, growth sprints, digital marketing and support. We were reborn out of Covid to offer a more boutique style to improve customer success and support both companies and team members with a growth oriented, collaborative and transparent process to lead to their growth and development.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
In general success is doing what you love in life and meeting goals to attain personal and professional growth and success.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
When my team started calling themselves ``ladybugz``
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Leaving a previous business that I partly owned to start my dream company over at the ripe age of 50.
How do you handle the harder days? The struggles? Those moments when you feel like giving up?
Hard days I rely on my team and on their hard days they rely on each other. I haven't felt like giving up since I started my company but other times in business I have. Sometimes when you want to give up, you need to check in and change course. In the end, nothing should be so hard you are completely unhappy and if you are, you need to make changes.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
I've met incredibly supportive and talented people. It's a great network to meet people with similar goals and who offer support on the highest level.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
When I hit 1M in revenue and a 30% profit margin in just under two years and to be able to share my success with my team.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
I am the woman behind my business, but supporting me is my COO Billie Kenyon. We are both family oriented vs. career oriented. But we love what we do and we bring that to work every single day, supporting our clients and team to the highest degree. I personally and dedicated to this life-first orientation where you can join and grow in whatever capacity adds value to your life, professionally, personally. We have a work how you want to work and work on what you want to work on, vs. trying to use people to do work they have no desire to do. It leads us to a huge freelance team who can pick the desired work. We allow for growth and expansion professionally and value team leadership and autonomy.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
Being a woman-owned business we truly value what that means for other women and people who want to live life to its fullest. We want everyone to be happy in their personal lives so that they perform at top performance at work. We want our clients to learn through our processes so they can move forward in whatever capacity they need, whether it is taking over everything on their own, or relying on us to guide them along the way. Many companies focus on retainer business but we are always seeking new clients we can put through our process and make them more successful. We design our partnerships to meet our clients where they are in the process. We also offer a full set of services and specialize highly in our clients' early growth stage in very specific industries. Our agile teams (pods) provide a custom experience where clients can ``come into the kitchen`` and work directly with all of our experts throughout the entire process. Our process is faster and efficient, along with cost friendly for the sized companies we work with.
Where can we keep up with you? What social media platforms do you use the most?
Mostly on LInkedIn!
