Duxbury, MA. I ended up here after my fabulous cousin told me to join this amazing group!
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
I help families and business owners protect their loved ones, maintain control over their property, and preserve their legacy.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
My definition of success is having a wonderful work life balance and knowing that I am truly making a difference by serving my community.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
My most transformational moment as an entrepreneur was being named a Super Lawyer - Rising Star (only 2.5% of Massachusetts Attorney receive this recognition). In that moment, I knew Law Mom was making a difference and an impact in the community. The holistic and educational platform Law Mom offers was and is being recognized!
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Work life balance is my biggest challenge and always has been. I love what I do, I love my family, I love spending time working, educating and making a difference and I love being with my family. Sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day!
How do you handle the harder days? The struggles? Those moments when you feel like giving up?
I take a deep breath and remember why I do what I do. I do this work to make a difference for families and truly serve my community through education.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
Boston Business Women Inner Circle has influenced my life in so many ways! I have made some amazing friends in this group, amazing referral partners and receive so much impactful advice.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
The proudest moment in my career is when my three year old son, Wes was asked what I, his mommy do for work. Wes answered, with a big grin on his face, ``my mommy helps people protect their loved ones.`` My heart melted.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
The woman behind Law Mom is sometimes a hot mess, sometimes put together but is ALWAYS wearing her heart on her sleeve. She is a busy mom, entrepreneur in the legal community but also in the real estate investing community. She spends her free time with Jax (1) and Wes (3) going on adventures and missions on the regular!
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
I started Law Mom so that families could have an outstanding experience planning for their loved ones. The client matters, their family matters, their decisions matter. At Law Mom we spend a lot of time educating our community and clients on the importance of estate and business planning. We want our community and clients to have the tools to be able to protect their loved ones and businesses in the way they want and in the way that works best for their specific situation. We spend a lot of time with our clients and constantly check in with them. At Law Mom we are a family, our clients our part of our family. We are a resource for our community.
