Duxbury, MA. I ended up here after my fabulous cousin encouraged me to join this amazing group!
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
I help families and business owners protect their loved ones, maintain control over their property, and preserve their legacy.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success for me is having a wonderful work-life balance and knowing that I am truly making a difference by serving my community.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
Being named a Super Lawyer – Rising Star, an honor received by only 2.5% of Massachusetts attorneys. In that moment, I knew Law Mom was making a real impact in the community.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Work-life balance has always been my biggest challenge. I love my work, my family, and spending time making a difference, but sometimes I wish there were more hours in the day!
How do you handle the harder days? The struggles? Those moments when you feel like giving up?
I take a deep breath and remember why I do what I do: to make a difference for families and serve my community through education.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
BBW Inner Circle has been amazing! I’ve made incredible friends, built strong referral partnerships, and received so much impactful advice.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
The proudest moment was when my three-year-old son, Wes, was asked what I do for work. He replied with a big grin: “My mommy helps people protect their loved ones.” My heart melted.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
The woman behind Law Mom is sometimes a hot mess, sometimes put together, but always wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s a busy mom, entrepreneur in the legal and real estate investing communities. She spends her free time adventuring with her kids, Jax (1) and Wes (3), and values family, service, and making a meaningful impact.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
I started Law Mom to provide families with an outstanding experience planning for their loved ones. Every client, their family, and their decisions matter. We educate our community, spend time checking in with clients, and ensure that every client feels supported—because at Law Mom, our clients are part of our family.
