Where are you based? How did you end up there?
Salem, MA. I moved here from Seattle in 2009 while pursuing my graduate degree in Boston.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
In 2018, my husband and I sold our house and everything we owned to buy a sailboat. We traveled for two years through Central America, homeschooling our two kids along the way. Before sailing, I owned a healing space offering massage, sound healing, Reiki, tarot, and more. During our travels, Astrology and Life Coaching became my main source of income (I was using Zoom way before it was popular!). We returned to Salem during the pandemic, and I’ve rebuilt my healing space here.
What is your definition of success? How do you know when you’ve reached it?
Success is having absolutely no regrets. It’s not about finances—it’s being truly happy wherever you are.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur?
My whole life has been transformational. I’m comfortable with change, and I love helping others feel the same.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
Switching my healing business from hands-on to online made me lose quite a few clients—mainly because finding good Wi-Fi in Central America was difficult. Despite missing the adventure of travel, I appreciate the accessibility we have now in the U.S.
How do you handle the harder days? The struggles? Those moments when you feel like giving up?
I draw perspective from my life experiences at sea—encountering hurricane-force winds and lightning squalls with small kids. Those hard moments taught me that the more you do challenging things, the stronger you become, and what once scared you no longer does.
How has being a Boston Business Women Inner Circle member positively influenced your life + business?
It’s a wonderful group. I’ve met new clients who have become friends, and I appreciate the supportive network.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Publishing my first book, Ghost Stories & Hippie Sht*, which took years of work and is full of my heart and soul. Holding it in my hands was incredible.
Who is the woman behind your business? What does she like? How does she spend her free time? What does she value?
I’m a wife of 20 years and a mom to two amazing kids. I love the outdoors, sailing, traveling, and taking beautiful photos. Nature and family are my greatest passions.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
I combine a unique set of skills: a Master’s in Education, Certified Transformation Life Coach, Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Tuning Fork Therapist with a BFA in Sound Design, and over a decade as an Astrologer and Tarot Reader. I blend these experiences to guide people in discovering their life path, creating personalized “magick” for their journey.
