Where are you based? How did you end up there?
I live and work from my home in Danvers, Massachusetts. I grew up in Methuen and attended Suffolk University in Boston, where I met my husband. He works in local government on Cape Ann, so we settled on the North Shore.
Tell us more about your company! What do you do and what pushed you to start?
When I was a kid, I visited EPCOT and was amazed by the different cultures I experienced. That sparked a lifelong travel bug. Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of families plan magical vacations—whether to Disney World, tropical paradises, or some of the world’s oldest cultures.
Beyond helping busy moms plan stress-free vacations, I love inspiring the same sense of wanderlust I felt as a child in other young world travelers.
How have you grown within your personal and professional life due to the success of your business?
Leaving the travel agency I worked for to start my own business led me to hire my first business coach. She introduced me to morning routines, money mindset, and intentional self-care. Now I have daily routines that include meditation and journaling, weekly time blocks for self-care, and personal development. I’ve learned that life is about enjoying the journey, not just checking off goals.
Tell us about your most transformational moment as an entrepreneur.
In 2022, I looked back at my goals and realized I hit 9 out of 12. In the past, I would have focused on the three I didn’t achieve. Instead, I celebrated the wins and progress I made—a small but powerful mindset shift.
What was one of your biggest challenges in business?
COVID-19 hit just six months after launching my agency. I had a toddler at home and no supportive network yet. Travel advisors don’t get paid until clients actually travel, so cancellations and changes were stressful and emotionally draining. I struggled without a support system, and it was a difficult start.
Tell us about your most proud moment in your career.
Coaching other travel agents has been incredibly rewarding. I didn’t have a mentor when I started, so helping other moms launch careers they love and gain flexibility is deeply fulfilling. One of my agents had a breakthrough on understanding her ideal client—she ended up in tears, and I got goosebumps. That moment was magical.

When she’s not planning epic trips or being interviewed on podcasts, Christina enjoys watching Friends, belting ABBA songs, or adventuring with her family. She values family, fun, and creating memorable experiences.
What makes you stand out from others in your field? What do you do differently?
At Showcase the World Travel, we are a modern travel agency. We cut through internet reviews and Facebook Moms Group noise, making vacation planning simple—even from the carpool lane. We provide personalized advice directly to inboxes, keep forms short, and ensure moms remember their vacation is for them too!
