I am an Operator, Strategist, and Pop-Up Business Partner.

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
No! I was born in Pittsburgh, but grew up largely in Canada. I came to the US to attend Wharton for my MBA, and then ended up in Boston for my first job out of business school.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I love helping founders with their businesses. Whether it's pinch hitting as a key executive or advising them on any range of issues - my career has run the gamut from strategy to operations, large and small companies, lots of industries, and I've founded 3 companies. I've also worked with a celebrity running all aspects of her business. Also, I have a podcast with my good friend (and lifestyle digital creator) Tara West called ''Shorts with Tara and Jill'' It's ''short'' - 10 minute episodes - and we talk about business, fashion and lots of stuff in between.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
I am practical, data-driven, and have a ''get it done'' attitude. I put processes in place and get the team excited about executing well and efficiently. Our Shorts podcast has some great reviews - people love our candor, humor and the fact that they can digest an episode while driving home from morning drop off or walking to work.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Better done than perfect.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?
I just came off a year of being COO for Bethenny Frankel - of Real Housewives of NY fame. I am super proud of everything I was able to help her with and the impact I was able to make.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Shut the computer and go home. It can wait.
How do you enjoy your free time?
Knitting, SoulCycle, skiing, hanging out with my 3 kids and hubs, finding new ways to procrastinate and new productivity hacks.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I really love the combo of raisins + Cheezits.
