More than 2 years.

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

No. I moved here from NY with my ex over 30 years ago.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

My company, That's A Spade Copywriting Services, serves entrepreneurs who are ready to step out of the crowd and use their bold message throughout their content to get their ideal clients to stop, listen, and think.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

They are amazed by how I can take a bunch of nonsense they say and write about what they do and turn it into engaging copy that's relatable and connects with clients ready to convert.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

My dad taught me how to separate facts from feelings. To feel your emotions, then move on to strategize how to take care of the challenge you're dealing with.

What is your favorite book?

All the Light You Cannot See

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

My daily accountability check-ins with my accountability partner.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

I've recently been a guest on at least 4 podcasts. I love talking about communication, creativity and enhancing both in content, and I really like talking about it through video and podcasts. It's an awesome way to reach new audiences. I'm focused on doing more 1:1 content development sessions with clients of my own, and through website/graphic designers. There are a lot of entrepreneurs who want to work collaboratively to create content for their businesses.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Listen to your own voice when you make a final decision. Go with your gut.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Hanging out in the city, cooking and eating, reading and writing, and laughing a lot with good friends.

What is something that not many people know about you?

I can sing pretty well. I save it for the car, the shower, and at home with my daughters.
