I moved to Boston after returning from college in Hawaii. I attended law school in Boston at Suffolk University Law.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I started my own firm in 2019 after practicing in the field of trusts and estates for many years. I knew early on that I wanted to help people get through difficult times, as I lost my mother at an early age and saw what my family went through during the probate process and aftermath of her passing. Starting my own firm in the areas of trusts and estates has allowed me to help families plan for their future, avoiding the many pitfalls one can deal with after the loss of a loved one, as well as assisting families who need to navigate the probate and guardianship process when proper planning has not been done in advance.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

My clients would say I am understanding, caring, and that I truly take the time to understand my client's needs.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Always have faith in yourself and your abilities, and everything else will follow.

What is your favorite book?

East of Eden by John Steinbeck.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

My secret weapon is staying grounded personally through meditation and yoga. Self care is key to ensuring I am on top of things in my career and professional life.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

I recently took on a highly litigious guardianship matter, assisting grandchildren help their incapacitated grandmother from a family member that was abusive and stealing funds. Being able to assist families in need has always been a passion of mine, and it is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Stay strong and keep positive. Life will bring you all that you all the love, happiness, and success you deserve.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Having adventures with my son, cuddling my furbabies, and yoga!

What is something that not many people know about you?

I have overcome many adversities throughout my life, including the loss of my mother at age 5, having a volatile childhood and upbringing, and struggling with a debilitating illness, to name a few. Through strength and perseverance, I have been able to achieve my goals, constantly staying positive and having faith in myself.
