My secret weapon is my Gratitude Journal. Every morning I take five minutes to reflect on the small and big things in life that I am thankful for. It grounds me and makes me live in the present. It also helps me focus forward on things I will be thankful for in the future because life changes when you live with a mindset of abundance.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

I was recently featured in the Worcester Magazine and was so proud to see my RISE - Women Entrepreneur Growth Program being featured. It is a scholarship program where we select a winner each month to receive a brand new website for their business. Our goal is to help other women entrepreneurs who want to start their business but might not have the financial ability to have a website designed. We select a lucky lady every 1st of the month. We were so happy to see our program featured so more women will take advantage of the opportunity!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

The world is your oyster! Focus on your passion and don't look back. Keep educating yourself, challenging yourself, working on your craft... everything will align when it is supposed to.

How do you enjoy your free time?

I am a proud bookworm so whenever I get a free moment you can see me curled up on my couch with a good book in my hand. I love personal development, business strategy and of course marketing books as well.

What is something that not many people know about you?

I got married young and my husband at the time was Hispanic. Hence my last name Hernandez. Whenever we would go to family functions I always felt out of place because I only could pick up words here and there when they spoke their native language. I made it a goal to learn the language on my own... and I did! I am now fluent in Spanish and the skill alone has come in handy so many times as a business owner. My agency is located in a very diverse community with many latino business owner. Being able to speak their language has been an imperative resource to serve them effectively.
