Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
Nope! I just moved here actually. We came for a couple months’ visit and ended up staying because of the scenery, the people, and the amazing energy of this incredible state!
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
When I became a mother, I realized firsthand how little support there is for women in their transition into motherhood. I’ve been an LCSW for nearly 10 years — a Clinical Director of a Domestic Violence agency, a college professor, sat on Boards in the community, and ran groups in a local jail — but nothing prepared me for my role as a mother and the transition into motherhood. It rocked my world.
I have since transitioned my focus to working with women throughout their motherhood journey, at the intersection of modern motherhood culture and personal experience. We focus largely on a woman’s identity as she becomes Mama and support her with therapy, coaching, workshops, and mama circles.
We’re building a true modern village for mamas — one that provides tangible support and collaborates with other community mompreneurs to decrease motherhood burnout and increase joy in motherhood.

“When you find a job you love doing, you never work a day in your life.”

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?
I have hired a marketing and PR company to help market me and grow my business! I was also considered for Entrepreneur of the Year with iFundWomen.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
You’ll find it—your calling… just wait. Be patient. But love what you do.
How do you enjoy your free time?
With my family, outside and in nature.

My name was Jennifer when I was born. My mom changed my name when I was 9 months old!
