nuxcrew has developed a teen-inclusive program aimed directly at strengthening their physical and mental health to become more resilient as they grow into adulthood. The program consists of on-demand streamed yoga reflection sessions and weekly online interactive coached workout classes with the same cohort of peers. The program also includes monthly health and wellness topic sessions led by experts that will help teens begin their life journey of empowerment.

I always wanted to start a wellness company but didn't want it to be contained to four walls. Knowing I can break down transportation barriers and meet the kids at their home, virtually, helped me achieve my dream of opening nuxcrew. We want teens to realize empowerment now and our expert coaches and I are dedicated to helping teens achieve their physical and mental goals. We see every challenge as a new achievable goal.

I am the former CEO of a Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and a former collegiate Associate Athletic Director and Recreation Director (Boston College). I also was the Associate Aquatic Director at MIT, President of a fitness equipment company and Co-Founder of a start-up athleisure apparel company. I have an MBA in Global Management and Master's in Higher Education from Boston College. I graduated Boston University with a Bachelor's in Arts, International Relations and Public Relations.

Teens struggling with mental and physical health during the pandemic have an opportunity to connect with others in a new, energetic program. The expert coaches are upbeat, positive and supportive! Teenagers are getting to move, interact with others and build fun social connections.

My secret weapon is that I am a 500 RYT yoga instructor. I also am a spin, swim and group exercise instructor. Basically, I am a life long recreation lover that can help any move and feel better. The best person to bring on vacation because I will have all the recreation activities planned!

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

Having worked in the health and development space in Boston for over 20 years, my wins are all the people, programs and buildings I have supported, created and lead. Most recently, I was the department lead for the $150 million 240,000 sq foot recreation and athletic center at Boston College. As the CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, I help guide the organization through the pandemic, which meant bringing all actives online. In my two years, I increased the visibility of Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass and its important mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. During my tenure, I successfully launched the “CEO Ask Me Anything” forum to seek stakeholder feedback to better understand their concerns and needs, and discern opportunities for improvement. Additionally, I served on the national Girl Scout Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Justice Steering Committee, Philanthropy Steering Committee and Annual Review Committee.

With my friends and family either in the water, by the water or in Ireland.

When I go back to Ireland, or speak with Irish people, my Irish accent comes back full strength! Otherwise, it is American and people have no idea I am from Ireland :).
