Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
nuxcrew has developed a teen-inclusive program aimed at strengthening their physical and mental health to become more resilient as they grow into adulthood. The program includes on-demand yoga reflection sessions, weekly online interactive coached workout classes, and monthly health and wellness sessions led by experts.

I always wanted to start a wellness company but didn’t want it to be contained to four walls. Knowing I could break down transportation barriers and reach teens virtually helped me achieve my dream of opening nuxcrew. Our expert coaches and I are dedicated to helping teens achieve their physical and mental goals. We see every challenge as a new achievable goal.

Background & Credentials:

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?
I have spent over 20 years working in health and development in Boston, supporting and leading people, programs, and facilities. Most recently, I was the department lead for the $150 million, 240,000 sq. ft. recreation and athletic center at Boston College. As CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, I guided the organization through the pandemic, brought activities online, and increased organizational visibility. I also launched the “CEO Ask Me Anything” forum and served on multiple national Girl Scout committees focused on DEI, philanthropy, and annual review.

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don’t give up on your dreams and ambitions, ever.

How do you enjoy your free time?
With friends and family, either in the water, by the water, or in Ireland.

What is something that not many people know about you?
When I go back to Ireland or speak with Irish people, my Irish accent comes back full strength! Otherwise, it’s American, and people have no idea I’m from Ireland.
