Women's Health and Wellness Coach

Less than a year

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

Yes, raised here since age 4. My parents are from here.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I love to help women feel great in their bodies. I build confidence, strength and balance in mind, body and spirit without the guilt. I came to this job by chance. I was a dance teacher for years (still teach workshops). I have my BFA in dance. After my second daughter I had terrible postpartum depression. I had a ton of complications after the C-section. I relapsed into alcoholism. I couldn’t teach. I was a mess. I started working at a gym at the front desk and taking classes from myself trying to find myself again. One morning the yoga teacher was stuck in traffic and I was thrown into teaching class. From there my journey began and I have gained many certificates since. What I discovered through the whole thing was that I loved helping other women gain their confidence and strength back as well. I truly believe it’s an inside job before it’s an outside job. The outside reflects the inside. Therefore we can reflect out to others, especially our children! I love what I do and I love the journey that brought me to it.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

That I lift other women up. I had a client tell me that working out with me is her therapy. She feels stronger mentally than ever.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Take care of me. Not for anyone else but because I'm worth it.

What is your favorite book?

A new one! Strong women lift each other up by Molly Galbrath

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

My most recent win is working my way through a marketing class and putting together a 12 week program to help women the way I am meant to!

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Listen to your instinct. It will never steer you wrong.

How do you enjoy your free time?

At the beach with my 2 girls

What is something that not many people know about you?

I don't know. I'm pretty open about everything. I'm sober. And have been for a while.
