How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?

2 years

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

I was born in Fl. But have been in Boston area for 43yrs now.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I have always been attuned to babies and their needs since I can remember. Always new I would be working with them in some capacity. Spiritually I have been told I’m like home for newborns. I’m also surrounded by babies spirits as well. Newborns, babies and toddlers feel content, safe and secure with me. Taking care of them and advocating for them comes really easily for me.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

We are knowledgable, understanding, reliable, confident, trusting and experienced.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

People will tell you what they are going to do before they do it. I have seen this first hand a lot in the last 2yrs. It surprises me every time.

What is your favorite book?

Idk. I'm not a big book fan.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

Healing my Karma/Trauma and getting out of the societal acceptance of seeing my self at the victim and doing the blame game. Once I was done with that, my life has sored. I’m thriving.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

Sleep training a 6m old who was addicted to meth when he was born. He went through detox the first month or so and had a rough start to his life. Medically he was given the ok to be sleep trained. Such a great accomplishment to take a child that is like a fish out of water, flapping all around, has no clue what is happening, to being calm, secure, eating more at each sitting, happier and sleeping is the greatest.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Just follow your heart and path. You already know deep down what you are doing. Don’t listen to the peanut gallery. Your life will turn out so much better than they ever imagines when you follow your own.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Chilling, bike riding, traveling, exploring 5 start eateries, the ocean, movies and with my husband and cats.

What is something that not many people know about you?

That I was told I was stupid majority of my life but I always just did my own thing and powered through to be where I am today.
