How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?

Less than a year

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

I was born and raised in Southern NH, and began my undergrad education at Boston University. I love spending time in the city.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

My coaching philosophy is … You already know the answer. You are the expert on you. Sometimes, however, childhood conditioning or events in adulthood that perspectives that do not serve you cause you to have foggy vision. That’s all it is. I believe in guiding you, through viewing your present circumstances through an objective lens, then envisioning the ideals in all areas of life, and supporting you in taking bold action to implement the ideals, to uncover the answers you have within. It works every time. I use a blend of positive psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis to teach clients how to proactively address the triggers that are causing behaviors leading to undesirable outcomes. Through integrity (I walk my talk, too — if it hasn’t yielded me or a client powerful results, I do not teach it), mutual respect, and relentless dedication to my craft, I facilitate courageous conversations, liberating truths to be revealed, and guide you to act with the utmost authentic behaviors so you can take your success to the highest levels. I have always been a teacher to my core, and when a divorce threatened to derail my mindset, I knew it was my purpose to find what would work best for me overcome the struggle so I could also teacher other like-minded women how to do it.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

My clients would say that I offer them a unique perspective on every issue with which they are struggling, and powerful strategies to navigate them. They would say, too, that our rapport is beautiful, and they can feel how much I genuinely care about them, their families, and their growth. They would add that they always get more service than promised. My goal is for them to reach their goals no matter what.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

My Mom consistently told me: ``You always have options.`` She never wanted me to think for one second I was cornered or stuck, and that advice has greatly influenced my resilient and courageous nature.

What is your favorite book?

This is always such a difficult question for me to answer. I have three that are tied: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Game of Life and How to Play It, and The Alchemist.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

I use the notes on my phone for everything. To keep daily to-do lists, to write content and copy, to write what helps me focus on my own mindset work.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

My most recent win is actually creating a second business to honor my mother who died in August 2020, and the bond she shared with my daughter, all while showing my daughter how to build, run, and grow a successful business that treats its customers with love and respect.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

You are way more than capable of mastering everything outside of your comfort zone, and ridiculously supported, regardless of what fear tells you. In fact, fear means GO.

How do you enjoy your free time?

I love to travel, attend live music events, lift weights, read and write, laugh with my kids, explore new places near home, and dance around my house.

What is something that not many people know about you?

My daughter says it's that I'm the sassiest person anyone knows. I'll say it's that at one point in college I began a program in biomedical engineering.
