Founder and Lead Designer

What is your business name?

How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?

Less than a year

What is your instagram handle?

@rebelbuilders

What is your linked in URL?

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

No, I am from Argentina. I traveled and lived in many places until I met my husband (from Boston), and we moved here.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I always have been a designer since I was a little girl. It was no surprise that I worked for the only architect in my small town during high school, drafting and on-site, learning the ropes. That experience throws me on a non-stop hunger for more design and to build my visions. I had my Master's in Architecture and Urban Planning, plenty of experience with affordable housing, new construction, and commercial work. I ended up in Boston, after one year that I moved in, becoming the Design Director of one of the finest design-build companies in the area. It took no time for me to open my own Design-build firm, and after over 2 years, I grow an amazing team. My team and all the people I have met in my career led me to believe in my love for transforming spaces.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

My clients would say that I over-communicate in a good way. In design, everything is so personal that you cannot take chances to misunderstand your client's vision. They would also say that our craftsmanship and love for detail is above the norm. We craft an experience full of positive attitude, problem-solving, and tons of software and planning tools to ensure everything is properly done.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Never compromise. And only work with happy people.

What is your favorite book?

That is tough. I am a huge nerd, I can't pick only one.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

All the apps. We use an amazing project planning app for remodeling: Buildertrend. It is the mothership of construction apps. Also, take some walks with people: your team, clients, trades, friends. Just take the time to listen.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying it in your career or business?

The team I built so far. The happy clients. The 400% growth rate since starting.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Keep doing what you are doing, girl! I am just so proud of that little nerd girl that traveled the world and never stopped dreaming.

How do you enjoy your free time?

Crafts, hiking, camping, board games, petting every dog I see.

What is something that not many people know about you?

I am an open book; if you have time for a coffee, I can tell you all about my adventures hitchhiking in South America and Europe. Or talk about my lovely family and their vineyard in the Andes.
