Yes I was born and raised right I in the heart of the city! Roxbury native and now reside on the south shore.

Boston Hairnista just celebrated its 9 year anniversary in February! We opened in 2012 at the tail end of the last recession and have been growing strong ever since. I started doing hair (braiding) as young as 10 years old. I know it’s hard to believe but it’s something that’s always been second nature to me. I just never parted from it and I always loved it. So fast forward 20+ years I have a steady growing salon business right in Boston that has serviced over 1000 people! I’m extremely grateful!

My clients have said that they are really comfortable with me and my salon. They’ve been a huge part of our strong foundation. They’re all my biggest cheerleaders and support everything we do. I’m truly thankful for all of them! I don’t think I tell them enough!

I honestly can’t list just one piece of advice. In my profession, I’ve come across so many trailblazers and they’ve poured so much into me over the years. I think what has stuck with me is to be teachable. That has allowed me to navigate so many things in life without resistance.

My latest read was the 10X Rule by Grant Cardone and it really lit a fire under me!

My professional secret weapon is the square app. They literally run my business for me! It’s definitely a staple!

I was recently awarded Best of Boston 2020 for Best Natural Hair Salon! I’m still over the moon about it! Thank you Boston Magazine!

If you can think it, you can do it. Don’t second guess your abilities and don’t make yourself small to make others around you comfortable.

Home, by the fireplace or outside in nature glamping (when it’s warm). Both bring me so much peace.

I do more than just hair... I’m an Interior Decorator and my company is Boston Home Couture. We do home staging, interior redesign, and short term rental (Airbnb) design. I’m also a Real Estate agent!
