Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

I am from Tuscany in Italy. I moved to US in 2012, for love. When I met my now husband, he was working here already. I thought: I can find a job anywhere, but I can't with the love of my life

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

Back in Italy I worked in the theater as acting teacher, actress and director. Then I moved to US and I couldn't work for 6 years because my spouse visa didn't allow me. I also had 2 of my 3 kids during that time. When I finally got my work visa, it felt difficult for me to go back to my job, after many years of inactivity and in a different country. So I decided to try another career and I turned to the other love of my life, yoga. I graduated as a yoga teacher in US! For me yoga and theater are deeply related, so I use yoga when teaching acting and viceversa. I have also started to work in theater again, I am part of an Italian Theater Company based in the Boston area. In yoga, I am specialized in yoga for PTS, perinatal yoga and inclusivity yoga. In theater, I like to work on topics that include social justice. I believe that through yoga and art, we can change the world!

What would your clients say about you and your company?

From some of my students' reviews: ``Eleonora is a very engaging and patient Yoga instructor. She creates a judgement-free environment and makes everyone feel comfortable with their own physical abilities``<br /> ``During her classes, I was able to come out of my comfort zone in exceptional ways and I enjoyed the stage experience in a way that taught me much more than theater and improv: I learnt about my potential and about myself``<br /> ``The sense of calmness and relaxation I had after the lesson was unbelievable and I have slept trough the night without any back or joints pain. I suffer from Hashimoto disease and my joints are usually sore and inflamed! I truly recommend Eleonora, she is a great yoga teacher, one of the best I ever meet``

What is currently your favorite book?

It is an Italian play, ``Novecento`` by Alessandro Baricco. It's about a pianist who was born and has always lived on a cruise ship.

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

I am very strong-willed, I don't easily give up if I really want something. Once, someone told me ``you taught me that dreams can actually become true``. I also tend to be a positive person, I think there is always a solution for each problem. Finally, coffee 🙂

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don't judge other people, as you don't know what they have been through

How do you enjoy your free time?

Reading, gardening, walking, travelling, staying with family and friends

What is something that not many people know about you?

I have two tattoos, one is a theater mask that reflects my passion for this art
