Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I have been in the helping profession for over 30 years. I became a licensed therapist 19 years ago and I started my own therapy practice in 2007. It has been my calling for as long as I can remember. Ten years ago I pivoted my business to working with couples as a specialty. I don't think I chose couples work specifically I believe the work chose me. Ten years ago I immersed myself in intensive training in couples therapy. At the same time I coincidentally or not so coincidentally was struggling in my own marriage. As I was learning how to help couples with their marriages and relationships I was also healing my own marriage with the skills I was learning. I've now been married for 20 years and the happiest I've ever been. I am passionate about saving marriages and keeping families together. When you're happy and content in your marriage your whole life is better.
