I live in Shrewsbury, MA. My husbands work brought us in Boston.

Hi, Pooja here, A little about me… I am a Fashion Designer, An Interior Designer, Sensible Shopoholic (if I may say that), Perfume collector, Tasteful about little beautiful things, Devoted to creativity in every genre, A head over heels in love with a partner in all my crimes – My Husband, A mother of two Divas. The CEO of my house, & Now the Founder of my new found love… Allow me to introduce you to the world of Urban Spice World. Cooking for me has always been more than just a tasty little creation, It is the way you treat yourself with what you deserve after an exhausting day. Its a little love story you share with your cravings. Give it a thought..! My first introduction to this world was by My Mother, She thought me the value of Taste, color, ingredients, combinations, ratios, remedies, quick tricks, nature’s way to love & heal the internal & the external. The list is endless. Uff! She was a culinary expert with every fold up her sleeve. I wish I can be at least half of what she was! I wish to celebrate everything I learned from her. Urban Spice World is my Celebration, and I would love to rejoice that with the World! This is a place for us to celebrate diversity by sharing and learning about culture both near and far, through food. As an adventurous home cook, I was inspired by the curious, adventurous, and creative soul within me. I was constantly seeking to discover new places, re-ignite past memories, or carry on my cultural legacies. Urban spice world embodies this spirit.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
My spices are very popular among local women. they love it. My spices help them to transfer bland food into culinary masterpiece.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Recently a good friend of mine told me that People will buy from your website not because of the price but because I make them. it is me which makes urbanspiceworld unqiue.
What is your favorite book?
I am not a book person.
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
OneNote - and canva. They are life changing.
What is your most recent win? How are you slaying it in your career or business?
My spices are pretty popular among ladies in my community. i have been getting orders from them. I am very close to getting my wholesale license too. Recently i received an order from real estate agent, they want to gift my spices to their customers. this is a huge win for me.
