Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I was born in Uruguay. My parents moved our family here to provide a better life, as we didn’t have much in our country.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I was studying psychology, pregnant with my first child, and preparing to apply for a PhD program. At the time, I felt that since my parents had sacrificed everything to bring us here, I needed to pursue the highest degree possible.
But I wasn’t happy in the research field. One day, I found an online photography course, decided to give it a try — and fell in love instantly. I gave up the PhD to pursue photography, and I’ve never been happier. It’s true what they say: when you find what you love, it doesn’t feel like work. I love running my own business, and I’ve been so lit up by this industry ever since.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
That I make that awkward feeling of being in front of the camera disappear. My sessions are fun, lighthearted, and intentional.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t ever stop learning and growing as a person.

What is your secret weapon?
Knowing my strengths and outsourcing my weaknesses — which allows me to empower other female-owned businesses. Realizing you don’t have to do all the things has been a total game changer!
What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying in your career or business?
I was recently asked to coach a client — something I’ve always wanted to do. It reminded me that you don’t have to wait until the timing is “perfect.”
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Jump in! It’ll never be perfect — work through your mistakes and start before you’re “ready.”
How do you enjoy your free time?
Taking care of my family and learning something new every day.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I gave up years of preparing for a PhD to follow this new dream — and it was the best decision of my life.
