Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
It has always been a dream of mine to meld my physical therapy background with my passion for health and fitness and I finally found a way to do that and share it with everyone! After graduating from PT school, I continued to seek out certifications and courses to improve and expand my skill set in order to provide my patients and clients with the best possible experience and care. I have a very holistic and personalized approach, which I feel is not common in most physical therapy clinics.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
A testimonial from one of my patients is as follows: “Courtney is one of the best Physical Therapists I have ever worked with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Courtney diagnosed my problems quickly and then created a plan that involved trigger point therapy, exercises in her office, and home exercises. The trigger point therapy was much more effective than the deep tissue massage I had received elsewhere. She also educated me along the way by clearly explaining what was going on and how my body should be moving instead. Plus, having her undivided attention for an hour made a big difference. I highly recommend her!``- Pam H from Lexington, MA
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Not to be afraid of failing
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
Always creating a to-do list at the beginning of each day and making sure to cross each item off before falling asleep at night
How do you enjoy your free time?
With my Border Collie Luna, exercising, or with my family
What is something that not many people know about you?
My escape is art- I thoroughly enjoy drawing and painting and have taken many classes over the course of my lifetime.
