Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I was raised in Onset near Cape Cod. I came up to Boston to attend college and never left.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I spent many years in the corporate world as a graphic designer and marketing manager. I eventually realized that I wasn't feeling fulfilled and decided to start my own business. Now I spend my time working with feminist business owners to create brands and websites that help their mission and values shine through.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
I think my clients would say that I am their cheerleader. The best thing I can do for my clients is to give them confidence to take on the world.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Be the change you want to be in the world.
What is your favorite book?
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
Amazingmarvin.com a todo list app on steroids. It keeps track of all my tasks and I don't know what I would do without it.
What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying in your career or business?
I just launched an eCourse focused on helping business owners to navigate through the world of inclusion, equity, and diversity
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don't wait for perfection, just do it now!
How do you enjoy your free time?
I spend my free time fishing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, hanging out with my wife and furry feline son, and going for nature walks.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I love all things True Crime, even though it get's a little creepy when I watch shows too late at night. Haha
