Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I am an Independent Consultant with 10 years of experience. I am a facilitator, educator and speaker on the work that is diversity, equity and inclusion. My goal is to raise awareness on social issues and create a more socially just world where everyone can thrive. As a woman of color, I have experienced racism and other -isms, so my journey and business are very important and personal to me.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

That I am very outgoing, passionate, relatable and most importantly REAL!

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

``Love what you do, Do what you Love!`` Even if it means starting over, don't stay unhappy somewhere.

What is your favorite book?

This is hard... Currently, ``Just Mercy`` by Bryan Stevenson

What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

I follow and love Social Justice Authors, bloggers and commentators such as Van Jones, Amanda Seales (IG), Grass Roots Law (FB/IG), She the People (IG), and others. Currently, a tool I am obsessed with is CANVA to build marketing content for my various pages.

What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying in your career or business?

A win I am proud of is being invited to speak or sit on panels recently to discuss current social issues, it means that my hard work is paying off and I am being recognized for my skills.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don't let fear keep you complacent!

How do you enjoy your free time?

With my beautiful 6 month old baby.

What is something that not many people know about you?

My thumb is double-jointed, I weirdly like to show-and-tell haha
