What is your Linked in URL?

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I've never liked the ``born and raised`` question as it is not inclusive and creates stereotypes, but I am a Massachusetts native, not a transplant. In my case, however, I was born out of the country while my father was serving in the Army.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I worked for nearly 24 years for a management consulting firm, work with state and local health and human service agencies. I am a Medicaid financing expert. I have started an LLC, Cultivate Advisory Services, to provide similar services and to expand my reach to non profits and small businesses. I also have a related blog site, Cultivate Cleaner, dedicated to education about chemicals in personal care and household products that coincides with being a Beautycounter consultant. I will see how they merge as I move forward.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
I am honest and hardworking and a good problem solver.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
It is ok to say you don't know something - but then go find the answer.
What is your favorite book?
I read too much to answer this question - but probably ``Under the Banner of Heaven``
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
My ability to multi-task, though occasionally it can be my downfall
What is your most recent WIN? How are you slaying in your career or business?
Having the faith to leave a great job and start a new business
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Find mentors sooner and don't just trust it will all work out
How do you enjoy your free time?
Yoga, gardening, spending time with family and friends, reading & learning, cooking, traveling

I am trying to learn not to kill house plants
