Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
Born & raised in Belmont, MA, just 10 minutes outside of Boston.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I thought I wanted to pursue a career in theatre - but as soon as I landed a job as a marketing assistant at a popular South End restaurant, and the rest was history. I love using data and research to develop informed, exciting, and results-driven marketing campaigns that make people FEEL something. Storytelling has always been a passion, and I love translating business plans into effective and enchanting content and copy that brings people together. Hayley Denker Marketing is a strategic marketing company that prioritizes client relationships and transparent analytics.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
My clients are always thrilled with the level of enthusiasm I bring to their brand - I get VERY passionate about my clients! But beyond that - we deliver results. We aren't going to start on a project without very clearly defining what success looks like.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
To get out of my own way. That's my #1 resolution this year!
What is your favorite book?
Of all time?! Too hard to answer! I just read The Alice Network and loved it. I also love The Secrets of Six Figure Women, Start With Why, and You Are A Badass At Making Money
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
Audible & podcast app ALWAYS filled with educational things I want to learn. To ALWAYS be learning something new in my field so I can continuously deliver the best for my clients.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Don't dumb yourself down for anyone - if someone doesn't like you because you shine too bright, that is THEIR problem. There are plenty, PLENTY of (amazing!) people who will love you for you!
How do you enjoy your free time?
Hanging with my kids - they are the BEST. I love to do crafts, host friends and family at my house (door is literally ALWAYS open), and listen to live music.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I worked as a character for Walt Disney World (where I met my husband).
