Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I was born in Boston and moved to Gloucester, MA at the age of 5, where most of my family still lives.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career.
Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors is a family-run, 86-year-old retail chain that’s a destination for the Northeast’s finest selection of wine, craft beer, and spirits.
I developed a passion for wine while working for the retailer Best Cellars while attending Northeastern University for my degree in Communication Studies. That experience was transformative — I discovered how much I loved wine education and hospitality. Every day since has been a learning experience I’m deeply grateful for.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
My clients would say that I approach every interaction with passion, dedication, and unbridled enthusiasm. Many people view wine as intimidating or inaccessible, so enthusiasm helps bridge that gap and create a welcoming environment.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Sometimes you have to say no.
I’ve always been a people pleaser, and I used to say yes to everything — even when I couldn’t fully commit or when it wasn’t the right fit. I’m learning to choose opportunities that align with my goals and allow me to give my full energy and focus.

Bossypants by Tina Fey.
What is your secret weapon?
Checklists! I love using Wunderlist to organize both my professional and personal life. There’s nothing more satisfying than checking off a completed task.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Believe in your self-worth. As women, we often second-guess ourselves and compare our progress to others. It takes strength to truly recognize your worth and advocate for yourself — both personally and professionally.
How do you enjoy your free time?
I love exploring new restaurants (and wines), going on nature excursions, traveling for wine — both domestically and abroad — and spending time with family in Gloucester.
What is something that not many people know about you?
While many people see me as bubbly and extroverted, I’m actually more of an introvert by nature and have to work hard to bring that “outer extrovert” energy forward when I need it.
