BBW MEMBER INTERVIEW WITH: Caitlin Marino, Intuitive Energy Practitioner

What is your name and occupation?
Caitlin Marino, Intuitive Energy Practitioner
How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?
Less than a year
What is your instagram handle?
@caitmarino
Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
Yes.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
At the age of 25 I became very sick and almost died. Energy healing and vibrational medicine saved my life. I have devoted the past 13+ years to studying, teaching and practicing the methods that helped me. I now hold over 1500 hours of certifications in different energy healing modalities and have been featured on goop and at the goop wellness summit in NYC. I combine the knowledge I have gained with my own intuitive abilities to craft distant energy sessions for people all over the world. My specialties include karmic clearing, Akashic record reading and energy anatomy. My personal mission is to help as many people as possible and to raise awareness of healing power of energy.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
My priority has always been integrity. Energy healing has become very trendy but this wasn’t the case, especially in the Boston area, when I began my journey we years ago. I have taken the time to educate myself well over the years. I take my job very seriously and I walk the walk.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
One of my teachers used to always say “it’s not about you.” She was instructing the class about how to hold space for others. This advice also speaks to how to hold a professional space for clients and make the client the priority. Over time This has evolved into “how can I be of service and best empower my clients?”
What is your favorite book?
The Alchemist by Paolo Cohelo. We all have the power within us to listen to the language of the universe, to transform ourselves using personal alchemy and to fall in love.
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
I have many! A bag of crystals, a pendulum, a prayer of protection, energetic boundary techniques and some sea salt and baking soda scrub to keep my energy field clean and clear.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
You have the ability to transform the worst experiences of your life into the best thing that has ever happened to you. Hold steady and be patient, your hard work will pay off and your suffering will help others through theirs.
How do you enjoy your free time?
I am passionate about what I do and most of my free time is dedicated to learning and practicing more methods, creating workshops, reading and spiritual practice. I also love to spend time with my 4 year old nephew Jack!
What is something that not many people know about you?
I can sing and play guitar! I used to do open mic nights all around Boston when I was younger.
