Boston Business Women

BBW MEMBER INTERVIEW WITH: Shawna Pelton, Transformational Guide for Personal & Professional Excellence

How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?

1 year

What is your Instagram handle?

@Nli8tnd1

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

Yes, I am a 4th-generation Bostonian (Charlestown).

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I’ve spent nearly two decades training under various disciplines — from holistic healing, mind-body medicine, and metaphysics to conversational intelligence and the neuroscience of change for building trust and healthy engagement.

Drawing from years of experience as a healer, teacher, coach, and guide, I created my own system called QuEST (Quantum Evolution & Soul Transformation), which integrates the most effective tools I’ve discovered in my practice.

I truly believe that when people are empowered to embody their authentic personal power, the world will know peace. My mission is to make a positive impact on the future by helping individuals, leaders, and organizations unleash their true potential. I’m dedicated to supporting those who seek purpose and meaning by helping them heal, overcome blocks, and activate their innate power to fulfill their divine mission.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

People often tell me their lives have drastically changed. I often hear, “I’m not the same person I was when I started seeing you.”

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Everyone has that one friend who delivers profound wisdom with humor. My best friend’s mom once told me, “Baby girl, when the world smells like shit… check your pants!” It made me laugh, but it stuck with me — a reminder to take full responsibility for my life and own my part in every experience. Thanks, Mama Di!

What is your favorite book?

It depends on the day… today it’s Gene Keys by Richard Rudd.

What is your secret weapon?

My mind — and if I can have a second, deep breathing.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

“Don’t do hard drugs or date Paul (who sells drugs). Stop torturing your parents — they’re doing their best and are heartbroken that you keep avoiding them to get high.”

How do you enjoy your free time?

I love spending time with my partner and walking my dog. I also enjoy being in nature and watching enlightening, educational content on Gaia.

What is something that not many people know about you?

I’m an extroverted introvert. I can be outgoing in social situations, but I deeply value alone time to recharge and restore balance.
