Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I was raised in NH, worked in China 25 years and am now back to be closer to my father.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I first started studying Mandarin at Phillips Exeter Academy in NH in 1984 and went to China that year. I knew then that I was in love with the country, its language and culture and that I wanted to build a career around it.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
Clients say that I am quick to solve problems, experienced and have excellent connections across China and Asia Pacific.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Don't be afraid to travel.
What is your favorite book?
Wilkie Collins The Moonstone
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)

What advice would you give to your younger self?
Stop obsessing about your weight.
How do you enjoy your free time?
We have three rescue dogs from China and they keep us busy because they all have different personalities and food preferences. Fun times!
What is something that not many people know about you?
I used to be an awesome water skier back in the day!
