Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
PRbyAC was born from my love of design. I started out in the NPO sphere. I worked at a nonprofit that didn't have the team or budget for marketing. In order to get our cause out to the masses, I had to learn design and marketing on the fly. I fell in love. What started out as a creative outlet has now become a legitimate business I am proud to put my name on and behind. I love empowering small business owners and reminding them why they got started. We do so much more than make things pretty! I have the privilege of working with small businesses and helping them fall back in love with their brands.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
We genuinely care about the success of our clients. We want our clients to be proud of their business, so we do our best to highlight their strengths in a way that is both aesthetically pleasing and authentic to WHO they are as small business owners.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Be your own biggest fan and never shy away from advocating for yourself.
What is your favorite book?
Grit by Angela Duckworth
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
Micro-scheduling my days in 30-minute increments. I do this religiously and it helps me stay on track even on the most turbulent days.
What is your most recent WIN?
Our firm is growing! I recently brought a ROCKSTAR developer and a PRIMO graphic designer on staff. Pretty soon we'll be expanding our services with some exciting new solutions for small businesses. I can't wait to offer more resources and opportunities for small business owners to learn the method behind the marketing madness.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Stop worrying about the future and appreciate the present. You'll get there someday, kid. But for now, be grateful for where you are and who you are with.
How do you enjoy your free time?
Golfing, spoiling my fluffy children, and refurbishing furniture.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I'm a graphic designer but I cannot draw free-hand to save my soul!
