How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?
Less than a year
Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I was born in Germany while my father was in the Army. We moved to New Hampshire, and after college, I moved down to Medford, MA. I love the city — it has such a unique vibe with its rich history, and it’s amazing to see all the new construction and growth that allows more companies to thrive. My supportive friends all live in the city as well, and it’s been such a positive, inspiring environment.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I started in property management and have been in that field for 10 years. I’ve always had a love for real estate — I’m fascinated by architecture, construction, and design. I enjoy talking to clients about what they’re looking for and make it my mission to find exactly what they dream of.
I’m currently working as a property manager and love seeing how a building functions and thrives, but my true passion is real estate. My goal is to make it my full-time career.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
That I am attentive and create a bond that makes the experience enjoyable.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I’ve ever received was as simple as: let the past go, breathe in the now, and fight for what you dream.
What is your secret weapon?
Cooking! I love food and experimenting with new recipes — cooking is hands down one of my secret weapons.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell myself to love the idea of stepping outside the box more than I believed at the time.
How do you enjoy your free time?
I love the sun! During our short warm season here in New England, I spend as much time as possible outdoors — at the Common or relaxing on the beach.
What is something that not many people know about you?
That German was my first language.
