BBW MEMBER INTERVIEW WITH: Noelle Federico, Owner & CEO, The Working Single Mom

What is your name and occupation?

Noelle Federico, Owner & CEO, The Working Single Mom

What is your Instagram handle?

@wrkingsinglemom

How long have you been a Boston Business Women’s Member?

Less than a year

Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?

Raised and lived in Massachusetts most of my life; I’ve since relocated to Vermont to be here for my aging parents.

Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?

I own a boutique consulting firm and have been managing and building businesses since I was 16 years old. I’m also a social media influencer with a reach of over 24 million people per month under my public persona, The Working Single Mom.

I specialize in marketing and brand management and am known as a general “fixer” for business operations — helping companies streamline, scale, and grow effectively.

What would your clients say about you and your company?

That I produce results that others can’t — and that I’m a force of nature.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Stay humble and get the result no matter what.

What is your favorite book?

The Game of Life and How to Play It by Florence Scovel Shinn

What is your secret weapon?

Do the things you don’t want to do first.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Pay more attention to actions than words — and when you see red flags, pay attention to those too.

How do you enjoy your free time?

I work (which I love), I write, I create videos for my audience, and I read. I’ve also been known to binge-watch Netflix from time to time.

What is something that not many people know about you?

That I came from nothing, went bankrupt 18 years ago, raised my son alone, and never took child support. Most people see my public persona and assume I’ve always had it together — but it’s been a journey built from resilience and faith.
