Were you born and raised in Boston? If not, what brought you here?
I’m from Topsfield but grew up between Norfolk, Va and the North Shore.
Tell us more about your job or company and what led you to your career?
I wear many hats. I am the owner of my salon as well as lead stylist. I also travel under my own name for hair and makeup needs outside of weddings. I grew up in the salon I own and it took a few years and a lot of paths but I found my way back.
What would your clients say about you and your company?
I think they would say that I’m lively and accommodating. Maybe a bit crazy but fun.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Keep moving forward.
What is your favorite book?
Icarus... it’s a preteen book that I fell in love with when I was probably 10 or 11. I still read it to this day.
What is your secret weapon? An app, a tool, a organization method, anything?! (Can be a personal or professional life tool)
My calendar. If it’s not on my calendar then it doesn’t exist in my life.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
SAVE some money!!! Also have faith in yourself, you’re going to figure it out.
How do you enjoy your free time?
On the beach with family, friends, and champagne.
What is something that not many people know about you?
I am terrified of being in large groups and having to meet new people. So much so I have a physical reaction to it.
